Harrier XC: Warren places 11th in meet; 1st in Class C

October 4 saw the Dodson-Whitewater Harriers at the always tough Havre meet. Class A, B, and C schools were in attendance, giving the Harriers their first look at some of the western teams. For the men, Jeret Warren placed 11th with a time of 17.55. Jeret was 60 seconds behind a strong Browning athlete who claimed first, and was the first Class C male runner to cross the finish line. Jeret is feeling “pretty good” about his season. His goal for the rest of the season are to finish with all times under 18 minutes. When asked about state, the senior reported he wishes to finish in the top 10 with a time of under 18 minutes.

The hilly course was challenging for the Lady Harriers, complete with fans on the track. They persevered, however, and did a nice job. Jacina Doney placed 51st with a time of 27.04, Teal Martell was 61st with a time of 33.56, and Jessica Anderson placed 65th with a time of 36.14.

Last week, the Dodson Invitational scheduled for Friday, October 10m was cancelled due to the school going through a whooping cough outbreak.

The Harriers are running in Harlem today at 10 a.m.
