One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of November 5, 2014

Congratulations to the Reichelts on the birth of their new granddaughter, Stella. That’s great.

Sympathy to Randy of Skinner Construction and his family on the passing of his sister. She is my daughter, Gale’s, cousin. Sally lived in Havre.

Janet Brown, my sister, is in Billings, and Justin Austin, Of Denver, Colorado, are here visiting. Janet is staying with me and I asked her if she wanted to make a statement like important people and she said “no statement at this time.”

There are many cattle rounded up and loaded into trucks to be shipped. There are truckloads going out everyday. The Dunbar Brothers had a huge auction in Glasgow.

The Baptist Church had two pastors from the south on Sunday. They enjoyed sightseeing in Montana.

Janice Reichelt catered a dinner at Sally Austin’s in honor of Justin, Janet and families – including myself.

There are hunters in the area including four from Minnesota. They ate at North 40 and said they are sleeping in a tent. Hope you don’t freeze, guys, as it has turned cold with strong winds.

I went to a birthday party for Leona S. It was well attended and there was pizza and cake to be had. Thanks to Kaydee Kelly and Karen Wiederick for giving me a ride to Malta to the birthday party.

My daughter, Gale and grandaughter, Challise of Saco, visited Janet and I. We all had dinner at North 40. It was a nice time.

Halloween is almost here. It is not my favorite holiday now. When I was growing up, my mother wold make doughnuts for the children trick or treating.

Have a great week.
