Mustangs Basketball: Darrah looks to impress on JV; Kuehn gaining confidence as freshman

The Malta Mustangs started their basketball practices on November 20 and with the new season starting Malta welcomes new faces.

Sophomore point guard Cru Darrah showed he was able to play ball last season, particularly in the state tournament games against Joliet and against Huntley in the third place game.

"It was fun. It was fun playing on the MSU court, looking up in the stands and seeing how big the place was," Darrah said.

This will be his first year on the JV squad. Being in his second year, Darrah is way more prepared than he was last season as a freshman.
