Headline: Dodson Coyotes take Malta in Return game

After holding the fast Dodson Coyotes on even terms for over half the game, Malta dropped behind to lose one of the best ball games seen on the local courts here last Friday night. The biggest crowd to ever attend a game here filled every avail-able space in the gym. Final score was 41 to 21.

Not the least of the game's attraction was the appearance of the two school bands. Dodson and Malta played selections separately and then joined forces under the direction of Mrs. Thelma Forstel. Mr. Swatek led the Dodson musicians. This band appearance made a hit with the fans and it is hinted that more frequent appearances would be equally well received.

The hot water flow at the American Legion Health Plunge, 16 miles east of Malta, stopped abruptly Sunday after having been trouble for several months. The Legion Plunge committee Monday went into action to consider whether to keep the health center in operation and to develop a larger recreation area or to discontinue the resort and sell the property to pay off existing debts.

Cause of the stoppage of hot mineral water which has supplied several pools, is credited to the disastrous earthquake in Southern Montana several years ago and a more recent quake felt in the Kalispell area.
