Panthers season ends

The Saco-Whitewater Panthers had a far greater season than the team has had in the last few seasons, making it into the Eastern C Divisional Tournament in Wolf Point last week, but the Cinderella story came to an end after losses to Mon-Dak and Frazer.

In the team's loss to the Mon-Dak Thunder, Dodson failed to generate points offensively, going 11 of 39 from the field, while Mon-Dak was 21 of 51.

The Panthers were led by Trace Simonson who had 14 points. Jeret Warren had 10 points. Chance Love had four points. Channing Mavencamp had two points and Layne Engel had one point.

In their 62-42 loss to Frazer last Friday, the team was led by Love, who had 12 points. Trace Simonson had 10 points. Jeret Warren had eight points. Justin Funk had six points. Layne Engel had five points and Channing Mavencamp had one point.
