Whitewater grad Olson teaching gifted students in Big Sandy

There is a new teacher these days at the Big Sandy Elementary School. Her name is Leah Olson and she is no stranger to the elementary school or to many elementary kids as she did her teacher practicum in Mrs. Moore's classroom in preparation of a degree in Elementary Education from MSU Northern. Leah also has a reading minor which is coming in handy in her new job.

Leah is teaching the gifted and talented program for elementary students. As well she is helping anyone who needs more help in an area that can be had in a traditional elementary classroom.
