Whitewater News for the Week of April 1, 2015

Welcome to the road crew that moved into the trailer and motor homes in Whitewater. They are making the highway wider.

The Girls basketball team has been in Billings and Glasgow.

The “Snowbirds” Gayle and Eunice Simonson returned from Arizona. They missed a mild winter here in Whitewater.

Connie Scheffelmear is working at school filling in for Linda Berg as she had appointments in Billings.

Whitewater Booster Club meets at Whitewater Lutheran Church on Monday, March 30 at 6 p.m. Becky Anderson is president.

Easter Sunday there is breakfast at 10 at church and church at 11:15 a.m. (Whitewater Lutheran.)

Whitewater Baptist Church is in Malta Easter Sunday at the Business Center across from City Park. Sunday Schools at 10 a.m. and church at 11 a.m. There will not be church in Whitewater on Easter night.

There is a big, lit-up cross on the church steeple of the Lutheran across the street from my house. It is beautiful at night. Happy Easter!

The wind is blowing, and we need rain, but it is nice weather for calving, which is in full swing. Calves are so cute and so are all the new babies including rabbits and chicks – the symbol of Eastern and new life.
