One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of April 15, 2015

Easter Sunday, Whitewater Lutheran Church was packed with many guests. There was a baptism of baby Ryett Francis Anderson and his family attended. A delicious brunch was served before church.

Congratulations to Bruce Hill of Whitewater and Mr. Pippen of Saco and others who won awards for the years teaching bowhunting.

Lindsay Berg went to Canada to spend Easter with family including relatives from Big Sandy and me (Helen.)

After dinner, we went to Sleeping Buffalo; it was awesome as they remodeled it! I sat in the hot pool all afternoon and it was wonderful. Gale and Challise Young (my family) were also at the Sleeping Buffalo.

Many from this area, including Bobby and Pat Anderson and Sally Austin, attended music at the VFW Club in Malta on Sunday.

Easter, I talked to Teresa, Rhonda and Sheila – my family – in Canada. They said they had snow in Canada yet.

Congratulations to my great niece Elizebeth on her wedding in Wyoming! Janet Brown (grandmother) from Billings attended. Jeanie Green and Julie Cole (from here) also attended. They stayed at Pat (Ivanovitch) Donich’s bed and breakfast named “Broken Arrow.” Pat is Sally Austin’s sister.

It snowed about an inch and was cold, so I covered my mom’s tulips…they still come up every year. But the snow has melted already.

Whitewater School is holding a carnival on April 23. Everyone is welcome.

Enjoy spring.
