Another tragedy hit the community recently with the death of Jim and Sue Higgin's grand-daughter, who was killed in a car accident in Kansas.

She was the daughter of Mike Higgins and wife. The Higgins family has been living at the Olsen farm for several years.

Also, goodbye of an old and faithful friend, Arabelle McMullen. She and her husband Ray have lived north of Whitewater on the Brown farm for years.

Monte, June, Jean Mavencamp and the Olsen families cleaned and decorated Forks Cemetery for Memorial Day.

There are generations of Olsens buried there, Alvin, Milton, Ryan and Terry Moore.

Shirley Dunbar reported that her grand-daughter, Missy lives in Houston Texas had water up to the seats of her car but she was alright in her third floor apartment.

Ty Murphy of Saco won a first place buckle in Sidney last week.

Morgan and Alex Murdock and two month old Aiden James of Great Falls visited Grnadpa and Grandma Murdock last Sunday. Kate and Gordon Webb of Malta also came for a visit. April showers have been coming in May! They sure make the grass grow.

Justin Austin of Denver, Colorado has been to the farm to help with branding and seeding.

The temperature got down to 30 degrees Thursday night!
