Above is Barbara and Billy Smith, children of Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Smith of Helena and grandchildren of Mrs. and Mrs. Edgar Lee of Dodson, who will give a ragdoll dance, "Skitter and Skeet" during the evening performance at the Phillips County Fair. The young dancers gave acrobatic numbers at last year's fair. 1940.

Stabbing affair at Dodson
Sheriff Al Shaw was called to Dodson Sunday night where he arrested an Italian section-hand by the name of John Tasseff for cutting another Italian named Tony Nick with a knife. The row occurred in the Italian section quarters at Dodson and the trouble started over arguments about the European war.
The prisoner will be given a hearing before Justice Brockway in this city Friday morning. Tasseff is being held in Valley County Jail at Glasgow, as the new jail here is being painted this week and not ready for the reception of many guests.
