Bates to teach science at Malta High School

Malta's newest science teacher, Kara Bates, comes to us from Plains, MT. Bates holds two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in secondary science education and another degree in microbiology. Both degrees were earned at MSU Bozeman. Her last year was spent in Plentywood, MT, where she student taught high school science. This year is her first year of teaching and she will be kept very busy with freshman and sophomore students teaching biology, AP biology, earth science, and environmental science.
