One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for November 4, 2015

Haven’t seen or talked with anyone since I returned, so don’t have much news.

We returned from a wonderful trip to Alaska, where we visited my daughter Karen and her husband Bud Cribley at Anchorage. We saw lots of country, big mountains, lots of water, different animals and learned about our wonderful state of Alaska from Bud, who is with the BLM there. Saw a lot of moose but only a few bears, but they visited our daughters yard several nights while we were there.

The temperature and the vegetation were about the same as here now, they are at sea level and do not get really cold, that is farther north. Stopped in Whitehall on the way home and visited grandkids and great grandkids, so happy to have gone and happy to be home again.

Had heavy rain in Seattle, rain in Bozeman and on the way home--hope you all got some too. Heard we might be getting colder on Wednesday with maybe a little white stuff. Hope that forecast is wrong.

Birthday wishes are sent to Richard Gilmore and I celebrated one more while I was gone. Age and creaking bones seem to come if we want them to or not.

Hope all the city-town elections turned out as you wanted them. And that you voted!
