Angel Program

Now until 11-19. Applications for the Annual Angel Program are now available at the Malta Food Bank and need to be completed and returned not later than Thursday, November 19. Please remember that only clothing and shoes will be purchased by the Angel Program for those in need, and toys will not be eligible items.

Book Discussion Group

The book for the November meeting of the Book Discussion Group is Buster Midnight's Cafe by Sandra Dallas. Copies available at the library.

The Bridge Club meets every Monday at 6 p.m.

AA Meeting

Saturdays. The Outback AA Meeting is held every Saturday at 4 p.m. at 139 9th St. SW in Malta.

PC Library Closed/ Story Time canceled

11-11. The Phillips County Library will be Closed on Wednesday, November 11 for Veteran's Day. Story Time is also cancelled on this day.

Veteran’s Dinner

11-11. Veteran's Day Dinner is Wednesday, November 11 at the VFW Club. Serving at 6 p.m. Sponsored by Malta VFW Auxiliary.

Malta Offices Closed for Veteran’s Day

11-11. The Malta City Office, Shop & Landfill will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, in observance of Veteran’s Day. Garbage pick-up will be delayed.

Walleyes Meeting

11-12. Malta Walleyes Unlimited will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, November 12, starting at 7 p.m. at Stretch’s.

Health-Care Foundation Fundraiser

11-14. On Saturday, November 14, the Phillips County Health-Care Foundation will hold the 24th Annual Health-Care Foundation Dinner. Dinner tickets for the event are $25 each and raffle tickets are $20 each or six for $100. You may also reserve a table for 10 for $350. For more information, contact Greg Ziegler at 654-2632.

Night at the Jazz Club

11-17. The Malta High School Jazz Combo will present its "Night at the Jazz Club" November 17 at 7 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. All are welcome to an evening of classic jazz and a variety of other styles from Miles Davis to Led Zeppelin.

PC Fair Board Meeting

11-17. The Phillips County Fair Board monthly meeting will be held at Stretches, Tuesday, November 17 at 6 p.m.

Boys and Girls Club Turkey Bowl

11-19. The Boys and Girls Club Annual Turkey Bowl will be held on Thursday, November 19 at Malta High School following a potluck dinner at the school cafeteria starting at 6 p.m.

P.C. State Co-op Grazing District Meetings

11-20. The annual meeting of the North/South Phillips County State Cooperative Grazing District will be on Friday, November 20 in the Phillips County Library meeting room. North Phillips County will meet at 10 a.m. and South Phillips County will meet at 11 a.m. The joint meeting will be at 1 p.m.
