Sintler and Hicks elected in Malta, Bear and Solberg in Dodson

Malta City Council will welcome two new members to the board when the calendar flips to 2016 according to the unofficial voter results from Election Day last Tuesday.

In the Council Member race for the City of Malta Ward 1, William (Bill) Hicks won with 210 votes, defeating incumbent Warren Abrahamson who received 110 votes. A total of 324 people voted in the Ward 1 election of the 480 total active registered voters for a turnout of 68-percent.
