Some clarification on Saco grain elevator

Saco's Howard Pippin found the above message scrawled across a piece of wood from the old grain elevator that was knocked down two weeks ago. The message reads " Galvin Lunde, Vienna S. Dak., Jan 14 1951, 4-1-51." Lunde was the construction boss on the building meaning it was built in 1951 and not the 1940's as previously reported.

Another point of clarification is GB Excavating out of Saco, owned by Greg Broadbrooks, were the ones to take down the three elevators in Saco and he is the one in the picture pushing the latest elevator down (PCN 11-4-15.) We apologize for the inaccuracies in the previous article.
