Green lights around town honor troops

Just in case you are wondering about the green lights that are showing up around town in the evening, there is a message behind them.

For the month of November the porch lights (or the “welcome home, I love you” lights as some call them) are in honor of the military troops who are serving this nation on all points of the world. The green lights was designated as the color to be used as a message for all to see that we keep the lights burning until our troops all come home.
