Annual Tree of Remembrance

Kirkwood Funeral Home will be doing its 22nd Annual Tree of Remembrance. Kirkwood Funeral Home will be doing an open house from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, at the Kirkwood Memorial Chapel.

Families are invited to place an ornament on the tree for a loved one who passed away this past year. We would like to invite families to pick up ornaments that were placed on the trees for the last 21 years and take them home to share with their family. The tree will be going up after Thanksgiving and will remain up until December 27. Any ornament placed, may be removed by December 28.

AA Meeting

Saturdays. The Outback AA Meeting is held every Saturday at 4 p.m. at 139 9th St. SW in Malta.

Monday Bridge Club

The Bridge Club meets every Monday at 6 p.m.

Whist

Whist is held every Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Wednesday Bridge Club

The Bridge Club meets every Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Thursday Pinochle

Pinochle is held every Thursday at 1 p.m.

Friday Bingo

Bingo is played every Friday at 1 p.m.

MCPA Annual Meeting

12-2. Montana Community Preservation Alliance (MCPA) annual meeting will be Wednesday, December 2 at 5:30 p.m. at the Phillips County Library basement in Malta. Among the agenda items will be the election of officers. We hope to see you there.

Malta Stamp Cancellation

12-3. The Malta Post Office will have a special cancellation of the Charlie Brown stamp on Wednesday, December 9 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Malta Rotary Club will also announce coloring contest winners on that day. Refreshments will be served.

Malta Community Blood Drive

PC Motor Sports Meeting

12-5. The Phillips County Motor Sports will meet Saturday, December 5 at 1 p.m. at Stretch's Casino.

VFW Auxiliary meeting

12-9. Malta VFW Auxiliary regular monthly meeting is Wednesday, December 9 starting at 7 p.m. at the VFW Club. Immediately following is a Christmas party. All VFW, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary members are invited. Please bring a $10 exchange gift. Everyone is asked to bring snacks or finger foods and those wishing to play Bingo are asked to bring Bingo prizes. Refreshments will be served.

Dodson Stamp Cancelation

12-10. The Dodson Post Office will have a special stamp cancellation on Thursday, December 10 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Dodson Christmas Program

12-10. The Dodson School Christmas/Winter Program was originally scheduled for Tuesday, December 8 at 6:30 p.m. That date has changed to Thursday, December 10 at 6:30 p.m.
