One Nation, Under God

Malta Chamber of Commerce News for week of December 9, 2015

This was an action packed week for the Chamber! Monday was our second Late Night Opening, Santa and Songs Night. Our merchants had great sales again for us. Santa visited the First Security Bank for pictures with our community kids. The Boys and Girls Club regaled us with a bell ringing show, and all donations stayed right here with our local Club. The Little White Church strolled through the streets with carols and got us all in the holiday spirit. Cattlewomen and the LDS church generously served snacks throughout the night. We sure are fortunate to live in a town that gives back so much to us!

We also had our members meeting this week. This month we held a workshop to develop an elevator speech, which is a short few lines that summarize why it’s so great to do business in Malta and Phillips County. This helps us, and we will share it soon with you, to start a conversation with others who may want to bring their businesses here!

We recognized our first Person of Influence, Laura Pankratz! She does a great job promoting healthy lifestyles and fitness in our community through her work leading Malta Trails. Congratulations Laura!

Tomorrow, Thursday December 10, is our next Business After Hours event, a Head to the Spa Night at Promises. Check out our ad in this edition of the PCN for more details, and we hope to see many of you there!
