The Malta Irrigation District will accept sealed proposals at the office of Malta Irrigation District until 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 for the purchase of one (1) 1998 Ford F150 4x4 automatic short box pickup truck. A minimum bid of $1,250 is required. Pick-up truck will be sold in an as-is condition. Item can be seen at Malta Irrigation District headquarters at 509 South 3rd Street East, Malta, MT. MALTA IRRIGATION DISTRICT WATER USERS ARE ADVISED OF EARLY IRRIGATION SHUT-OFF IN 2016

Malta Irrigation District (MID) is moving forward with the Dodson South Canal Head Gate Replacement Project. Construction of the project is to occur during the Fall of 2016. MID plans an early irrigation shut-off to allow for the project to be completed within one season.

MID is informing all water users that shut down of the irrigation MID irrigation system will start August 10, 2016.

Please plan accordingly.

MID is coordinating the construction time frame with Bureau of Reclamations’ Nelson Dikes Safety of Dams Project; BOR is planning to complete construction in the Fall of 2016 as well. MID chose to coordinate construction projects to deter multiple years of early irrigation shut-offs.

Please plan to attend MIDs Annual Meeting on January 20, 2016 for additional information about the above projects.

The meeting will be held in the Library Basement starting at 6:30 p.m.

Special Education Record Destruction

Under Regulations 76.730 and 76.731 of the Office of Special Education (OSE) Policy Letter, the Bear Paw Cooperative will soon destroy special education/speech-language therapy records of former students who have been out of school for at least five years. Former students may contact the Bear Paw Cooperative at 357-2269 within sixty days of this notice if they wish to review the files or obtain copies of the information contained in them.

The data to be destroyed shall include information collected for identification, location, evaluation, and other items directly related to special education services which

the student had received.

These records will be destroyed sixty (60) days from the date of this notice.
