Dodson News for March 23, 2016

Dodson’s Excitement—Entertainment—or mystery? A large Boar Pig was reported running through people's yards and around town and when notified, Mayor Cole called the brand inspector from Chinook for help and he graciously came—calling a friend of his from the mountains who was familiar with pigs who also came. Help from several around town including a couple state employees, Edward Solberg, Bruce Kienenberger and others, along with the brand inspector cornered the boar south of town where the brand inspector roped him -- and the rodeo began, with the porker bucking, fighting and kicking. For a complete story lock onto Mayor Cole’s Facebook page where she reported it all! Next time, Mayor—record it. We all need a good laugh and it sounded like this was a good one. Everyone is still wondering where the porker came from------he was a big one----as there are very few raising pigs any more. Does anyone know? Terr.i Cole was in Denton this week for family and grandkids activities. Polly Solberg was a visitors in Billings. The ladies at the Wathatau Center served a very nice Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner on Saint Patrick’s day. Thanks girls. The weather just can’t seem to make up its mind—so nice and warm one day and then cold and windy for a few. It is always stormy and unpredictable at the time of the spring equinox. We wish everyone a Happy Easter! Spring must be around the corner! Birthday greetings to Jessica Wilson-Fetter, Carol Kienenberger, Sandra Calk, Sharon Munsinger and every one celebrating a birthday this week. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Where Liberty dwells, there is my country.
