One Nation, Under God

Donna Marie Boyce

Donna Marie Boyce died in her home on March 18, 2016 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was 45 years old.

Donna was born, and lived, in Edmonds, Washington. She was a devoted employee of Microsoft for 25 years and loved her job almost as much as her Microsoft family. Coworkers relied on Donna for her organizational skills, event planning, and creativity, but they remember Donna for her smile, welcoming office couch, patient ear, and her bird bath full of candy. Donna met Don Ereaux at Microsoft in 1992. They were together for 24 years and married in 2012.

Donna loved the newest technology and the people in her life unreservedly. Much of her time was dedicated to making someone she loved feel special by sending a handmade card, delivering crackers and Gatorade when they were sick, unobtrusively helping out in a crisis, celebrating achievements both large and small, and searching endlessly for the perfect gift. Donna was a gentle teacher who imparted selflessness, kindness, laughter, compassion, and love. She was loved in return. Unconditionally.

Donna is survived and cherished by her husband, Donald Earl Ereaux, her mother, Zonora Alynda Boyce, her father, William Charles Boyce, step-siblings Ginny Gunzel (Chuck) and Steve Piper (Renee). She also leaves her aunt, Roberta Grace Zastrow, uncle Andrew Speedy Zastrow (Alexandra), cousins Andra Alex Zastrow, Ariel Nieves Zastrow, and Andrew Kristopher Zastrow, godchildren Avery Zastrow and Deveraux Nieves. Donna was adopted by her husband's family who always threatened to keep his wife and leave him behind if he didn't make her happy. Donna is kept in the hearts of Roger Dale Ereaux (Brenda), James Howard Ereaux, Shaune Marie Kuszmaul (Don deceased), Michael Fred Ereaux (Nancy), Anita Faye Green (Brian), Darcy Ann Kirkhorn (Brian), Mark Allen Ereaux, Daniel Edward Ereaux, and Kenneth William Ereaux (Kathy ) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, March 26th, 2016 at the Edmonds Plaza Room located at 650 Main Street in Edmonds, Washington. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform a small act of kindness to make someone feel special or go a little crazy with holiday decorations this year.
