Malta Senior Meals

AA Meeting

Saturdays. The Outback AA Meeting is held every Saturday at 4 p.m. at 139 9th St. SW in Malta.

Gopher poisoning in Malta

The City of Malta will be poisoning the gophers in Trafton and Riverview Parks. All poison will be placed underground. Do not let your pets run at large in these areas because your pets could come in contact with the poison and/or poisoned gophers.

PhillCo Meeting

3-31. The next PhillCo General Membership Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 31 at Noon at the GN Lodge Room. Everyone is welcome to attend! The agenda for the upcoming meeting will soon follow.

Bike Maintenance Clinic

4-2. Malta Trails will be holding a basic maintenance and repair clinic for everyone getting those bikes ready for the Spring and Summer season at Bill’s Classic Auto Body & Towing on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Erik Engebretson will be our instructor for clinic. (Happy Birthday Laura! Thanks for all you do for this community.)

Attention Dirt Daubers!

4-4. For our April meeting we will meet at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 4 at the PC Museum parking lot. We will car pool to Hinsdale High School for a tour of their greenhouse for a program on "Greenhouse gardening.”

Malta Kiwanis

4-5. Malta Kiwanis will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5 at Westside Cafe. We need to plan for highway clean-up and several other spring activities.

BLM/Little Rockies Management Plan

4-5. Input is being sought from the public about the Little Rockies Travel Management Plan. The Bureau of Land Management Malta Field Office will hold a Public Meeting 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, in the First State Bank Community Room at 1 S 1st Street E., Malta.

St. Mary's Rehabilitation

4-6. The St. Mary's Rehabilitation Working Group will be holding a meeting in Malta on Wednesday April 6, from 10 a.m. – noon. The meeting will be held at the Great Northern. The public is more than welcome to attend.

American Legion Auxiliary

4-7. The Malta American Legion Auxiliary will hold its regular meeting April 7th at 5 p.m. at the VFW Club. Election of Officers. All members please attend.

ALA State application

4-7. Phillips County Girls, the deadline to submit your American Legion Auxiliary Girls State application is 5 p.m., April 7. Please mail to Carolyn Schmoeckel, PO Box 957, Malta or drop off at the VFW Club after 4 p.m.

PhillCo Annual Meeting

4-14. PhillCo Economic Growth Council’s Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the GN – Lodge Room. The meeting will kick off with a no-host social at 6:30 and our annual meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with our guest speaker Lesley Robinson, Phillips County Commissioner, speaking at 7:30.
