P.C. Museum news for week of July 27, 2016

Genealogy research has been keeping the staff busy at the PC Museum this week. A family from Maine came researching a bachelor that lived in the Content area for many years. The only information the family had found was a date of death and the name. Our research library was a fountain of information giving up not only an obituary but also a name of an unknown cousin. The obituary also named the pall bearers and we were able to unite the family and pall bearer for a visit! Thank-goodness for the information that has been donated to the museum archives. And an extra punch – we also added Maine to our list of states that we have had visitors from! Our hours are Monday through Saturday 10-5 please stop in and visit.
