The Malta M-ettes Volleyball team flashed some potential early this season as they defeated CJI 30-24, Geraldine-Highwood 30-10 and Cut Bank 30-27 during pool play at the Chinook Volleyball Invitational last Friday.
The team eventually lost out in Saturday's tournament but the team should experience a bit of growth with four new starters this season as well as a brand new head coaching duo consisting of coaches Tasha Hines and Kalli Reintjes.
The team lost several seniors to graduation including hitters Mary Grace Kalal and Adrianna Bibeau who were the team's starting outside hitters.
