Merchants Christmas Scrip

The Malta Chamber of Commerce Christmas Scrip program will kick off on Thursday, October 27 with the Parade of Lights. Merchants who want to be involved in the program this year need to have their Chamber dues paid and scrip fees paid by Friday, October 14. For more information contact Don Nevrivy at 654-2582.

Westside/Kid Curry Food Drive

October. Westside/Kid Curry Casino’s accepting non-perishable food items for the Food Bank the month of October with $5/5 machine play. Sign up to win a 2017 Marion Hills Golf Course single membership or a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Drawing held November 1.

Presentation

10-5. The Montana Department of Transportation will hold a Speed Study Presentation on Wednesday, October 5 at the County Commissioner’s Office in the Phillips County Courthouse starting at 11 a.m. The presentation will focus on a possible speed limit reduction on Highway 191 South (near Marian Hills Golf Course and Joe’s In and Out.) Public is welcome to attend.

P.C. Historical Society Meeting

Book Discussion

10-13. The Book Discussion Group will meet on Thursday, October 13, at 7 p.m. to visit about the book, “Runaway” by Mary Clearman Blew. There are still some copies available at the library for anyone who would like to join us.

Free Let’s Control It Training

Landusky Annual Harvest Fundraiser

11-5. On Saturday, November 5, everyone is invited to the Landusky Harvest Fundraiser. The action starts at 5 p.m. with a free will donation dinner, drawings, auctions, a pie contest and a bake sale. Come join us for a fun filled evening.
