One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for December 14, 2016

On Sunday evening we received our first small skiff of snow with badly falling temperatures -- for all week with another small snow covering. We have had low and below zero temperatures all week. What a difference 24 hours can make in Montana. This cold spell seems to have hit the entire nation and many places have been hit harder than us. Wink Cole spent several days in the hospital with pneumonia. Dean and Carol Kienenberger took in Christmas gatherings at the Nursing Home and at the Tin Cup for the Security State Bank. Polly Solberg and Dora Henry braved the elements and were in Havre on Thursday for medical and business. Polly was in Malta on Friday for business and visiting. Dora Henry was in Malta on Saturday and came home at the wrong time through a very thick snowstorm/blizzard that you could hardly see through. It had a couple of inches on the ground before it finished but was over shortly after Dora got home. Birthday greetings are sent to all having a birthday in this cold month—especially Raven and Nicholas Bear and Robert Dolphay. Anniversary greetings are sent to Dean and Carol Kienenberger. Take care that the face which looks out from your mirror each morning is a pleasant face. You may not see it again all day, but others will. When the outlook is poor, try the up look. A happy week to you all—remember the first day of winter is only a few days away!
