Whitewater Lutheran Church had “Day of Ashes” service on Tuesday, February 28. Next week, Lent begins. There will be soup supper at 5:30 p.m. followed at 6 p.m. by church starting on March 8. Everyone welcome.

We had a “blizzard,” with snow and cold recently. Some loaded snowmobiles to go to deeper snow. But we will think spring! Don’t forget to “Spring forward,” and turn your clocks forward one hour on March 12! I wish they would leave the times one way or another year-round. Don’t you?
