One Nation, Under God

Loring News for March 15, 2017

The moon is full and the day for spring ahead hour has come! It is my humble opinion that we have more snow this weekend than all the rest of the year! I'm sure this week most of it will be gone!

Dixie Stordahl drove to Billings on Tuesday to attend a choir concert of Rocco's cross town singing group. There were 75 boys from grade 4-6 who practiced together all winter! It was marvelous four part harmony! So glad I went!

Congratulations to all the state basketball tournament participants! We had quite a few from this area! Also I'd like to give kudos to all the cheerleaders! They are easily overlooked but do so much to keep the crowd under control and entertained! DeeDee Johannesen is one of the cheerleaders from out in this neck of the woods! Good work!

Dixie Stordahl attended the Masonic Home / Sacajawea benefit dinner and Americanism program on Sunday. Jennifer Wilkinson gave a talk about belonging to Eastern Star and setting up chapters in middle eastern countries as she was in the service.

Loring Lutheran will have services at 9:30 on March 19 in the Loring Hall.

I saw more geese flying over today! They certainly have hope for open water! We just have to look at them and know that spring will be here! Have a good one!
