Whist League crowns 2nd Annual Whist Champs

What is starting to become an annual event awarded whist players with $400 in Chamber Bucks.

The Senior Citizen Whist League 2nd annual card playing came to an end this March.

League chairman, Roger Ereaux reported that with the local sponsors they were able to cover the cost of expenses, donate to the Sr. Citizen Center and payout to participants.

Sponsors generously brought in $700 of which $400 was used to purchase Chamber Bucks for the winnings.

First place of $200 went to Shane Anderson and John Rothie, 2nd place of $120 to Dale Plouffe and Roger Ereaux, and 3rd place of $80 to John B...
