Dodson News for June 21, 2017

The wind continues to blow all the time but we have had a few small showers that have helped. Gardens are coming up good and everyone seems to have an abundance of rhubarb this year.

Polly Solberg and Eva Bruckner were at the GN for the congregate meal on Tuesday.

Nice to see Kathryn Hughs, and Bonnie and Corky LaBrie at the center at Dodson for lunch on Wednesday.

Dora Henry attended a Council on Aging meeting in Malta on Wednesday. Terri Cole had business in Malta on Tuesday.

Steve and Tara Cole's twins were guests at Terri and Winks for a few days.

Get well wishes are sent to Transit director Betty Hasler on her broken ankle.

Condolences are sent to the extended family of Frances "Tribby" Dopp. The family lived in this community for many years.

Lots of mowing going on and the town is looking pretty good. Seems the mosquitoes are under pretty good control so far too.

Polly Solberg's grandson, Devon, had the opportunity to go to Chicago for a speech and drama endeavor and was able to stay with a sister who lives there.

Anniversary greetings are sent to John and Patti Wilke and 40th anniversary greetings are sent to Bill and Marilyn Henry.

Sometimes we all feel like a snapdragon—no snap and everything draggin’.
