Flu Shots

Flu shots will be given in Malta on Oct. 3, Whitewater on Oct. 4 and Saco on Oct. 11.

People interested in flu shots this fall and winter are encouraged to contact the Phillips County Nurses' office at 654-2521.

Dirt Daubers Meeting

10-2. Dirt Daubers Flower will meet on Monday, October 2 at 5:30 pm for soup supper meeting at Toni Ziegler's home. Following the meeting, Billie Rae Maxie will give a program on quilting. New members always welcome.

Kiwanis Meeting

10-3. Malta Kiwanis will meet on Tuesday, October 3, at 6 p.m. at Westside Cafe. Time to plan for the Health Fair pancake breakfast! New members always welcome.

Preschool Story Time

10-4. The Phillips County Library will start Preschool Storytime on Wednesday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m.

Board Leadership Training

10-3. On Tuesday, October 3, an interactive Board Leadership Training class will be held at the GN from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This interactive board leadership training has a fee of $15 and everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend. Joint OES Official Visitation

10-6. The Order of Eastern Star Malta Sacajawea #37 and Hinsdale Riverview #80 chapters will jointly host the Official Visitation at 7 p.m. in the Masonic Hall on Friday, October 6. For more information contact Sarah Osmundson 390-2496.

Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk

10-7. The PC Suicide Prevent Awareness Walk will start at 2 p.m. at Veteran's Memorial Park.

Malta Public Square Rosary

10-14. The local Public Square Rosary will take place at Veteran’s Memorial Park at noon on Saturday, October 14.

Oktoberfest Pool Fundraiser

10-14. The Hi-Line Future Foundation is hosting the Second Annual Oktoberfest fundraiser on Saturday, October 14. Details to be announced.

American Legion Meeting

10-17. The next American Legion meeting will be held Tuesday, October 17 at the VFW for 6 p.m. and SAL meeting to follow at 7 p.m.

MT Veteran Affairs

10-19. On Thursday, October 19, Judy or Steve, service officers for Montana Veteran Affairs, will be at Malta City Hall from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
