Canadian Duo Twin Kennedy to play at Malta High School

Get ready to be entertained, Malta…doubly!

Twin sisters Carli and Julie Kennedy will bring their energetic music to the Malta High School Auditorium on Monday, October 2 starting at 7 p.m. as the first of several acts associated with the Big Sky Concert Series.

The Northeastern Arts Network Big Sky Concert season begins with a bang on Monday, Twin Kennedy which is comprised of Carli and Julie Kennedy who have been making music together since they could talk. The duo is a two-time Canadian Country Music Award Nominee, Winner of two 2016 VIMA Awards, 2016 BCCMA Nominee for Roots/Canadian Group of the Year and Grand Prize Winner in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

Twin Kennedy is known for their sibling harmonies, high-energy shows, and heartfelt songwriting. Recently located to Nashville, Tenn., these twins have toured extensively throughout Canada and the United States. With years of classical training and Degrees in Music Performance from the University of Victoria, the sisters have found their home in country music. With Carli on guitar and vocals and Julie on fiddle and vocals, these twins were described as “Nothing Short of Awesome” by Cashbox Magazine.

Don’t miss the beginning of the season! Please join them for an entertaining, fun-filled evening as Twin Kennedy performs in the Malta High School Auditorium on October 2 at 7 pm. They will be spectacular and you will go home with a smile on your face and a song in your heart!

Tickets will be available at the door and prices are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $10 for students (Students with activity passes are free.)
