One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for September 27, 2017

Get well wishes to Eunice Simonson and all who are sick.

Welcome back to Pastor Wisher’s family. Farewell and Godspeed to pastor and Mrs. Brundy and baby. They substituted for the Wishers at church.

The Ryan Olson Dart Tournament at the North 40 was a big success. There was a silent auction, a great lunch and then the dart tournament. A busy weekend, indeed. KMMR radio announcer Kelly Korsbeck was one of the tournament participants and so was Pete Dalby among many others.

There was a wedding shower for Amelia Sanguins at Whitewater Lutheran Church last Saturday. The bride received many nice gifts. Dessert was delicious also.

The Poplar volleyball team played the Maverick team in Whitewater on Saturday as well. Welcome, Poplar.

A knitting class will be taught in Whitewater beginning on Sunday, October 1. For more information contact Lou at 674-5435.

We in Whitewater received enough rain to settle the dust. Great!

Happy birthday and happy anniversary to all September celebrators.

My cats are all entertainers. One cat sits on the table phone when I am trying to talk on it. If I don’t stop talking, she walks on the piano keys to play and get my attention. She either wants to be fed or pet…or both. She is smart and funny.

Helen
