One Nation, Under God

Loring News

Happy October to all my readers! With the strong wind today, most of the leaves from our big cottonwood have fallen from the tree. But Tom is happy because they just kept going right out of the yard! Lots of gold flying all over.

Just a reminder about the Loring Fall Dance Saturday! Come on out to Loring for a great time dancing, visiting, and meeting up with old friends!

The deer on the highway to Malta are thicker than fleas! A few have been thinned out to the detriment of the vehicle that hit them! It's just too bad.

Congrats to the North Country Mavericks on their wins the last couple of volleyball games! Combining peas is so diffcult, the header is so close to the ground, a spark from a rock can start a fire and then lots of damage can happen!

Congratulations to Ame Sanguins and Flint Schaff on their wedding! They got married in the barn at the Gene Sanguins place out east of Turner.

Loring Lutheran Church will be held at 9 a.m. now. Next Sunday, Orvin Solberg will give the message. It is so nice to have worship in the church!

Whitney Blunt and family, Matt and Carmen Norville and family, joined Jonnae Slade and Kallen at the Fun Glow Run in Billings! I'm proud of all of you!

My sunflowers are still feeding a few seed-eating birds. Many of the heads are getting depleted of seed though! Soon the little finches will be gone south but as long as the seeds hold out they are welcome to hang around!

The aurora borealis have been pretty good a couple of nights this week!
