September 29, 2017

3:16 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10am-10pm tonight.

6:19 a.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a female having leg pain and couldn’t get out of bed; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

7:52 a.m. Female requested a welfare check on an elderly family member in Malta; Deputy responded to the call; another family member advised that elderly female was okay.

8:44 a.m. Male brought in a found set of keys from the football game last night; if you are missing a set of keys, please call PCSO, 406-654-2350, to identify and claim.

10:13 a.m. Female reported another female trespassing on the caller’s property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

12:00 p.m. Deputy released one adult male, Jordan Bridle, from PCSO Jail on time served.

12:26 p.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle accident on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputy, local EMT Crew and Fire Dept responded to the call; MHP Trooper also responded to the accident; ambulance and FD later canceled; case file started; information also passed onto MT Dept of Transportation employee.

1:20 p.m. Female reported a fender/bender in a residential area; Deputy responded to the call; minor damage to the vehicles; white form issued.

1:33 p.m. Male reported an individual “sleeping” in a doorway of a local business; Deputy responded to the call; individual was a transient checked out the night before, was okay and Deputy advised him to move on.

2:26 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10pm.

4:42 p.m. Female reported a lost/confused male near a local business; Deputy responded to the call; found to be the same transient male from earlier; Deputy advised the male to move along.

6:33 p.m. Male filed a written complaint regarding a juvenile being “bullied” by another juvenile; Deputy responded to the call; parents of the second juvenile located and advised; juvenile had already been disciplined by the parents.

9:17 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

September 30, 2017

1:20 a.m. OnStar reported a vehicle/elk accident near the Fred Robinson Bridge; no injuries to the driver; information passed onto MHP Dispatch.

9:15 a.m. Female requested extra patrol around her residence while she was out of town; information passed onto Deputies.

9:44 a.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the Middle School games.

11:05 a.m. Male reported a lost cell phone.

2:31 p.m. Female requested assistance for a male needing to get to his residence; Deputy handled the call.

2:43 p.m. Winter Storm Watch in effect from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning for southwest Phillips Co.

4:05 p.m. Male reported seeing smoke north of Wagner; caller later reported it had been a combine fire, was controlled and extinguished.

8:20 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from midnight to 6pm Sunday.

9:28 p.m. Male reported a female in his vehicle that would not leave; Deputies handled the call; female left on her own accord.

10:01 p.m. Female reported possibly suicidal, run away juvenile; Deputies responded to the call; several buildings and locations checked with no luck in locating the juvenile; female later reported the juvenile had returned home on own accord and was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation; case file started.

October 1, 2017

12:14 a.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle parked near a Historic Point on Hwy 2; all found to be okay, occupants were just resting.

1:07 a.m. Male reported a one vehicle accident on Hwy 191 south; Deputy, local EMT Crew, Fire Dept and MHP Trooper responded to the call; Ambulance and FD later canceled; case file started.

2:16 a.m. Deputy requested a tow truck for the vehicle involved in the above accident; local rotational wrecker service responded to the call.

3:14 a.m. Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning for southwest Phillips Co.

3:16 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6pm.

3:57 a.m. Local business reported a male who advised he was going to have a seizure; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

10:52 a.m. Female reported a missing dog; caller later reported the dog had been found and was okay.

2:39 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until 8pm tonight.

2:43 p.m. Winter Storm Watch in effect from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning for most of Phillips Co.

3:03 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

7:25 p.m. Winter Storm Warning in effect from noon Monday to noon Tuesday for south-west Phillips Co; Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon Monday to noon Tuesday for most of Phillips Co.

7:33 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until noon Tuesday.

9:15 p.m. Male reported theft of property; Deputy handled the call.

10:53 p.m. Saco business reported a transient in their area; information passed onto Deputies.

October 2, 2017

2:58 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until noon Tuesday.

3:07 a.m. Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from noon today to noon Tuesday for southwest Phillips; Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon today to noon Tuesday for the rest of Phillips Co.

3:20 a.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a disabled vehicle on the Cutacross Road to Lodgepole; call transferred to Ft Belknap.

7:59 a.m. Female reported the male transient sleeping in the doorway of her business; Undersheriff responded to the call; male advised to move on and cannot sleep or sit in the doorways of the businesses downtown.

9:00 a.m. Male reported an abandoned vehicle in front of his house; Undersheriff responded to the call; owner located and advised would get the vehicle moved soon.

2:28 p.m. Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon Tuesday for southwest Phillips; Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon for the rest of Phillips Co.

5:32 p.m. Big Flat Electric responded to several outages from Harlem, Hays/Lodgepole, Zortman/Landusky to south Malta.

6:04 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with property she found in a location left by the previous tenant; Deputy responded to the call and removed the property.

8:34 p.m. Several calls received reporting power outages in the Wagner area; information passed onto NorthWestern Energy.

8:39 p.m. Female reported a power outage near Loring and a 2nd female reported north of Wagner; information passed onto Big Flat Electric.

8:46 p.m. 911 received reporting a power outage in Zortman; information passed onto Big Flat Electric.

9:04 p.m. 911 received reporting a fire in the trees behind the caller’s house started by power lines being crossed; Malta Fire Dept and NorthWestern Energy responded to the call; fire later put itself out.

9:08 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with an interior motion detector that keeps going off; Deputy handled the call.

11:06 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a female whose leg was numb; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

October 3, 2017

3:01 a.m. 911 received reporting the caller’s power had been out for several hours and wanted to know when it would be back on; caller advised several outages all over the area and the Linemen were working on getting the power restored as fast as they could.

3:07 a.m. Winter Storm Warning for southwest Phillips and Winter Weather Advisory for the rest of Phillips Co remain in effect until noon today.

3:14 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until 6pm.

4:15 a.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle slid off of Hwy 191 south; no injuries to the oc-cupant, just needed a wrecker; local rotational wrecker service responded to the call.

4:30 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported a low hanging power line, just south of Malta; information passed onto Big Flat Electric and NorthWestern Energy.

5:20 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported more weighed down power lines, along Hwy 191, south of Malta; information passed onto Big Flat Electric.

5:56 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee advised of several downed power lines all over Hwy 191 south and suggested the Malta Schools be advised to cancel the buses; information passed onto Malta School employee.

6:02 a.m. Several calls and 911s received reporting power outages in the Wagner area; callers advised the power was out in several locations and was being repaired by Lineman as fast as they could.

6:09 a.m. Male reported several low hanging power lines in the Dodson area; information passed onto Big Flat Electric and NorthWestern Energy.

6:15 a.m. Male reported several low hanging power lines along Hwy 2, west of Malta; information passed onto Big Flat Electric and NorthWestern Energy.

6:29 a.m. Male reported a semi stuck in the ditch south of Malta on Hwy 191 south; Undersheriff and MT Dept of Transportation employee responded to the call; semi pulled out of the ditch and went on its way.

Numerous calls received reporting power outages, weighed down lines, broken lines and low lines all over Phillips Co; Sheriff and Undersheriff responded to calls; information passed onto Big Flat Electric and NorthWestern Energy.

9:00 a.m. Female reported a possibly stolen firearm; Sheriff responded to the call; case file started.

9:02 a.m. 911 received reporting a semi in the ditch south of Malta, on Hwy 191; semi and trailer were partially blocking traffic as well; Sheriff responded to the call; traffic stopped for a short amount of time while the wrecker service got the vehicle unstuck; Hwy 191 reopened and traffic resumed.

9:06 a.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle had slid into the ditch on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Sheriff responded to the call; reporting party later reported they had been pulled out of the ditch and were on their way again.

9:36 a.m. Local business reported an abandoned vehicle parked in their parking lot; Undersheriff responded to the call; owner located and advised to remove the vehicle.

11:13 a.m. Individuals reported a downed tree at a residence on Central Ave; information passed onto City employees.

11:48 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6pm for all of Phillips; Winter Storm Warning for southwest Phillips will expire at noon.

2:00 p.m. Dodson Mayor requested an Emergency Notification be sent to the residents of Dodson to not use water due to the power being out.

Several calls received requesting road reports for Hwy 191 south of Malta; callers all given information from the MT Dept of Transportation Road Report website.

3:47 p.m. Local MHP Trooper responded to a one vehicle slid off on Hwy 191 south of Malta; reported vehicle was assisted with getting unstuck and went on their way.

3:49 p.m. Local apartment complex manager requested law enforcement assistance with tenants who supposedly moved out but there might still be a person living in that apartment; Sheriff responded to the call; no one located in the apartment.

4:19 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle had slid off of the Hwy, Hwy 191 south of Malta; local MHP Trooper responded to the call; vehicle located and a local wrecker service assisted with getting it unstuck and they went on their way.

5:26 p.m. Female reported three missing dogs from north of Saco.

5:47 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

5:58 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6am Wednesday for all of Phillips Co.

7:50 p.m. Female reported being harassed by her neighbor; Deputy responded to the call; found to be a he said/she said type of situation; situation resolved without further incident.

9:01 p.m. 911 received reporting a low hanging wire near the Hwy 204/Hwy 2 junction in Dodson, causing trees to smolder; Dodson FD and NorthWestern Energy responded to the call; fire extinguished and situation taken care of.

October 4, 2017

2:53 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory is canceled for Phillips Co.

9:34 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a family member and juveniles; Sheriff responded to the call; family member located and was okay, juveniles were with another family member.

9:36 a.m. Female reported a power outage in the Wagner area; information passed onto NorthWestern Energy.

12:35 p.m. NorthWestern Energy reported a power pole on fire near the Dodson School; Dodson Fire Dept handled the call.

1:34 p.m. Female reported a missing firearm; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

2:10 p.m. Local MHP Trooper responded out of the county to assist with prisoner relays to Valley Co and Hill Co Detention Centers.

2:57 p.m. Kenco Security reported a burglar alarm sounding at a local residence; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, no break-in to the residence.

4:24 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving herself and other family members; Undersheriff and Deputies responded to the call; female later taken to the PC Hospital for evaluation.

4:38 p.m. Kenco Security reported a commercial burglar alarm sounding at a local business; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, someone tried to open a locked door.

4:52 p.m. BNSF Police reported a crossing arm malfunction at the crossing west of Malta and a maintainer was enroute to repair it.

6:30 p.m. Male filed a verbal complaint regarding a vehicle that almost hit the caller’s vehicle while driving on Hwy 2, west of Dodson; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

8:50 p.m. Male reported a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 191, near the DY Junction; vehicle had been moved from the accident location; Deputy responded to the call; white form issued.

11:06 p.m. Female reported a dumpster fire near the Sleeping Buffalo; information passed onto County Fire chief who advised to monitor it for the evening.

11:18 p.m. 911 received requesting law enforcement assistance with a male who was “acting up”; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; all found to be okay, just a verbal dispute between the caller and the male.

October 5, 2017

3:12 a.m. Blaine Co SO served a local Felony warrant on one adult male, Brian Bell; male later transported to the Phillips/Blaine Co line by a Blaine Co Deputy to transfer custody to a PCSO Deputy.

2:18 p.m. High Wind Watch in effect from Friday evening through Saturday morning for southwest Phillips Co.

4:42 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the PC Hospital to pick up a patient for a transport to Havre.
