Wilma J. (Ramsey) Crowder

MALTA, – Wilma J. (Ramsey) Crowder, 81, a retired restaurant manager, died Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the Hi-Line Retirement Center.

Wilma was born June 2, 1936, on the family ranch in Blaine County, the daughter of Wilbur A. "Bill" and Frances "Fannie" (Sherlock) Ramsey. She was raised in Blaine County and moved with her family to Malta where she graduated from Malta High School. She married Robert Crowder after high school and later divorced. They had three children. She worked in restaurants for many years and finished her career as the manager of Lydia's in Butte, Mont. When she was younger she enjoyed water sports. She loved going to garage sales and looking for the bargains, and was a good seamstress and loved knitting.

She is survived by her children, Bob Crowder of San Diego, Calif. and Roberta "Sis" Crowder of Virginia Beach, Va; brother, Morris Ramsey; sisters Barbara Cebulski, Deloris Chase, Etta Golbreath and "Midge" Haynes; several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
