Phillips County Library classic challenge

The winner of the Phillips County Library Classic Challenge was Amber Hofer of Loring, Mont.

The challenge was open to junior high and high school students and adults and ran from Feb. 1 to Dec. 11, 2017.

Hofer was chosen out of eight participants who met the goal of reading at least six books and one of those people read the four book goal.

Hofer received $100 in Chamber Bucks as a prize.

Head Librarian, Janeen Brookie stated that due to great participation, "We will do it again next year and increase the prize money: $100 for first place and $50 for second place."

Brookie thanks all who participated and wishes everyone a Happy New Year and reminds them that the P.C. Library will be closed Saturday, December 30, 2017 through Monday, January 1, 2018.
