Missoula Children's Theatre brings Beauty and The Country Beast to Malta
Young Daughters (not in order): Lola Snell, Rylee Matthews, Sabra Sims, Saydee Kapp, Alex Oshio and Kayla Ottinger. Older Daughters (not in order): Giona Lamb, Justine Lamb, Corrine Hofer, Madyson Bain, Izzie Hallenberg and Emma Casebolt. Younger Beauty Lou: Renzey Raymond. Older Beauty Lou: Madyson Warburton.
The Missoula Children's Theatre brought their yearly production to Malta last week, capping a week's worth of play practices with two live shows at the Malta High School Auditorium on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
This year's play was entitled Beauty Lou and the Country Beast and the tale included bronc-busting, miners, a county fair, blue ribbons and a bevy of barnyard animals (many of which scrambled across the stage during a hand full of sarcastic stampedes.) Loosely based on the classic Beauty and the Beast, the musical had many laugh out loud moments (for child and adult alike)...
