Officer Hould honored by Tucson PD

The Tucson Police Department recently recognized six officers of the 700-plus officers on staff for their hard work and dedication to the community.

Officer Preston Hould, an 11-year veteran on the Police Force was one of the six acknowledged for his energy, time and endeavors on the force. Hould is a 2001 graduate of Malta High School and the son of the late Sid Hould and Kari Hould of Malta. His paternal grandmother is Myrtle Hould, also of Malta.

Preston was also selected four times as the Officer of the Month in the last year for his diligence, determination, enthusiastic and devoted commitment to his unit. Hould served in the National Guard following graduation and worked locally doing border duty before moving to New Mexico and then Arizona. He is married to Kim Morhland of Minnesota and they have twins, Gracie and Jackson, age eight.
