When it was snowing, temperatures dropped well below zero last week as the winter of 2018 continues to pound Phillips County.
In Malta, snow started falling around 6 a.m. last Wednesday and didn't stop until approximately supper time on Thursday.
Tanja Fransen from the US National Weather Service's Glasgow office told the PCN that when she was in Malta on Thursday night she measured the snow at the high school at 7.5-inches and said that there has already been a total of 10.7-inches in town for the month of February.
