Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2018 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2018, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2018 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2017 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2017. Thank you!

January 26, 2018

11:14 p.m. Female reported the neighboring apartment had “music up so loud it woke the baby”; Deputy responded to the call; individuals advised to turn it down for the night.

January 27, 2018

5:31 a.m. Male reported a vehicle in the ditch, west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; no one located around the vehicle and was off the roadway enough as to not cause a hazard.

8:11 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting a deceased family member’s property from a local residence; Undersheriff handled the call.

9:07 a.m. Local Ambulance reported to MHS for the wrestling tournament.

10:33 a.m. Male reported a fender/bender east of Malta; no injuries to the occupants; local MHP Trooper handled the call.

12:17 p.m. Male reported a “sick deer” on his property; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

1:44 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 8 p.m. this evening through 5am Sunday for most of Phillips Co.

January 28, 2018

1:45 a.m. Deputies performed security checks around the Malta area.

3:09 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5am today.

3:57 a.m. Female reported a dead deer on a residential street intersection; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

4:55 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory is canceled.

5:06 a.m. Male reported a possible a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 204, south of Dodson; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle located; male transported to a local residence.

January 29, 2018

9:43 a.m. Dodson School employee reported damage to school property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

2:40 p.m. High Wind Watch in effect from late tonight until Tuesday evening.

3:38 p.m. Deputy released one adult male, Landon Costin, from PCSO Jail on time served.

9:20 p.m. High Wind Warning in effect from 5am-8pm Tuesday for southwest Phillips Co; High Wind Watch remains in effect from 5am Tuesday to Tuesday evening for the rest of Phillips Co.

11:39 p.m. Male reported a possibly intoxicated male walking on Central Ave; Deputy responded to the call; male located and given a ride to his residence.

January 30, 2018

3:54 a.m. High Wind Warning remains in effect until 4pm today for all of Phillips Co.

8:00 a.m. Glasgow Weather Service advised of a line of rain showers that has popped up bringing areas of rain and freezing rain.

8:24 a.m. Dropped 911 received from a local residence; Undersheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay at this time; two males had a disagreement and one of them left the location.

12:33 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Glasgow; local EMT Crew responded to the call.

2:14 p.m. High Wind Warning is canceled.

3:57 p.m. Female reported two juveniles walking on the ice, with a sled, north of the Milk River Bridge; Undersheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay, just checking set lines.

7:08 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male having trouble breathing and chest pains; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

January 31, 2018

7:29 a.m. Female reported a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 191 just south of Malta; caller advised the deer wasn’t dead; Undersheriff responded to the call; deer humanely euthanized.

9:53 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an unconscious juvenile at a local school; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

11:42 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 5pm today until noon Thursday.

1:22 p.m. Ft Belknap LE reported a vehicle accident near the DY Junction on Hwy 191 south; local MHP Trooper responded to the call.

4:10 p.m. Reserve Deputy reported a vehicle and trailer that appeared to be stuck alongside of Hwy 2, west of Saco; vehicle later got un-stuck.

5:32 p.m. Female reported hearing gunshots out by her residence on the east side of town and also advised of a herd of deer near the residence; Deputy responded to the call; no one located and deer were not “spooked” by anything going on in the area.

February 1, 2018

3:18 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until noon today.

9:58 a.m. Malta High School requested an ambulance for a juvenile who had passed out; Sheriff and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

10:31 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory is canceled.

11:36 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with an individual who was harassing the caller; Deputy handled the call.

1:46 p.m. Winter Storm Watch in effect from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning for southwest Phillips Co.

6:58 p.m. Deputies reported to the Malta High School for security purposes.

8:22 p.m. Female requested a welfare check on her child at a Dodson residence; Deputy responded to the call; child found to be okay.

February 2, 2018

3:43 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5pm today until 3am Saturday for southwest Phillips Co.Winter Storm Watch now in effect from late tonight until late Saturday night for all of Phillips Co.

9:07 a.m. Male reported a dead deer in his residential yard; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden.

9:38 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5pm today until 3am Saturday for southwest Phillips Co. Winter Storm Watch now in effect from late tonight until late Saturday night for all of Phillips Co.

2:00 p.m. Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Landon Costin, in PCSO Jail to serve time on another jurisdiction’s sentencing.

4:04 p.m. 911 received requesting the PC Hospital be advised of a personal vehicle transport of a male having a possible heart attack; information passed onto PC Hospital.

6:03 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call; call later changed to ground transport to Glasgow due to the plane not being able to land because of the weather in Malta.

6:33 p.m. Female reported they were stuck in the ditch, west of Dodson; caller given both local rotational wrecker phone numbers.

7:39 p.m. Male reported a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 191, just north of Malta; no damage to the vehicle but the deer was still alive and injured; Deputy responded to the call; deer located and humanely euthanized.

7:45 p.m. Deputy reported Hwy 191 south was starting to drift in with snow; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation employee.

10:31 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly female who fell; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

11:15 p.m. Female reported being harassed by a soon to be ex-husband; Deputy han-dled the call.

11:49 p.m. Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from 3am Saturday through late Sat-urday night for all of Phillips Co; Winter Weather Advisory is canceled for southwest Phillips Co.
