Saco School Closed For Basketball

Saco School will dismiss on Thursday, February 22 at 12 noon for the Divisional Tournament. Buses will run at that time.

City of Malta Landfill closed

Closure 2-20 thru 23. The City of Malta Landfill will be closed Tuesday, February 20, thru Friday, February 23, due to staff shortages. Sorry for the inconvenience.

MES Science Fair Public Viewing

2-21. The 2018 Malta Elementary School Science Fair will host a public viewing of projects on Wednesday, February 21 from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and the award assembly will start at 1:30 p.m. (Judging of projects will be February 20.)

Blood Drive

Hi-Line Technology Round Up

2.27. Todd’s Technology Store will team with the HiLine Technology Round Up for a free class on baking yup photos and contacts on digital devices. The free class will be Tuesday, February 27 in The Phillips County Library basement starting at 6:30 p.m.

Malta Child Find Preschool Screening

3-14. Hi-Line Home Programs, in cooperation with Malta Public Schools, will offer a free developmental assessment for children ages birth—through the day before their third birthday on Wednesday, March 14, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Malta Lutheran Church, 316 S 3rd Ave W

Please bring your child, even if you do not have a current concern about their development. It only takes about 20 minutes to complete the assessment, and your child will receive a free book. The screening also includes a free audiology exam. You will receive a full developmental report in the mail which includes information about how to further your child’s development. Contact the Malta Elementary School at 654-2320 to make an appointment; contact Khristi Drabbs at Hi-Line Home Programs at 228-9431 if you have any questions.
