On Tuesday, February 20, Sherman Doucette netted 6,430 to take first, and Kevin Stevens' 6,320 was good enough for second. The traveling prize on the day was awarded to Lou Olson.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, February 20, Pearl and Clara defeated Lois and Frances in two straight, 13-6 and 14-9.

“Clara granded a lot because she had all the cards,” Pearl said.

On Friday, February 23, Pearl and Francis outpaced Lois and Clara in both of the day’s contests, winning 13-6 in the first and 16-6 in the second.

“We started out in a tailspin and then were able to turn it around and beat them twice,” Pearl," said.
