March 7, 1918

Tom Stout of Lewistown had addressed a large number of persons at the IOOF Hall under the auspices of the Red Cross, relating some of his experiences on the recent trip to Belgium, France, and England. The Sklower orchestra played several selections.

A letter had been received from Milton Porter who had lately been moved to Hempstead, L.I., with the 376th aerial squadron. Porter said the "boys were on the move."

A commercial club "suggestion" meeting had resulted in a unanimous decision to hold a general city-wide clean-up.
