One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for June 6, 2016

Since Terri and Wink were going to stay for several days in Billings Dora Henry's daughter Cheryl brought her home and helped her decorate the family graves in the Malta Cemetery. She also helped Dora with some small projects before returning to Billings. Dora visited with her granddaughter Jessie, who has returned to Montana from several years in Florida and met her two great-granddaughters, Kimberly and Kyla.

When coming out of the clinic Dora ran into Michelle and Ward VanWichen and son. Small world!!

Lunch was enjoyed at the center on Wednesday.

There was a big thunder and lightning storm and display on Wednesday followed by a short rain after.

Our sympathy to the people of Roundup after the fierce hail storm they had. The stones were reported as large and lots of it and it did a lot of damage.

We have a couple new people moved in on the west side and everyone has been working on mowing and cleaning up yards. Dakota Taylor repaired the wooden fence around Jerry and Bonnie Lankford's house (Cecelia's house) and Pickles Ereaux has moved in. Nice to have neighbors again. Bonnie Lankford was out mowing along several of the streets and some lots.

Polly Solberg attended the swim meet in Harlem on Saturday and Sunday.

Ava Welch was up mowing and cleaning her yard after having had a bad bout of the flu or something like it. We're glad to see her up and around after several days down.

Birthday greetings are sent to George Anderson, Ron Kienenberger, Steve Hopkins, Sr., Dolores Shettel, Ike Williamson and all others with a birthday this week. Hope you all have a good one.

Developing the mind is important, but developing a conscience is the most precious gift parents can give their children.

Several people took in the Car Show in Malta and said it was wonderful! Nice to have something that pleases so many people.

Have a good week!
