On June 7, Sharon Emond scored a game high 5,780 for first, Ron Lundman was second with 5,670 and the traveling prize was awarded to Malcolm Clouse

Malta Duplicate Bridge

On Wednesday, May 30, Donna Olson and Margo Rush captured first place. Malcom Clouse and Bonnie Millar were second.

The following Wednesday saw Bob Maxie and Malcolm take first and Margo and Mary LaFond tie with Billie Rae Maxie and Lois Goodheart for second.

Hi-Line Whist

On June 5, Pearl and Francis won three out of four games, Grandslam-6, 1-13, 13-2 and 13-3, to rule the day.

“We did the big one, then they got us and then we came back again,” Pearl said.

On June 8, Clara and Francis took two of three games from Pearl and Lois, 16-8, 2-14 and 13-3.

“We all were doing good until the night owl came and woke us,” Pearl said.
