Wilke wins Don Nevrivy Memorial Free-throw shoot and state

On Sunday, January 28, thirty-two young men and ladies participated in the local Knights of Columbus / Don Nevrivy free-throw shoot in Malta.

The local winners were Kash Ereaux nine-year-old boys, Kylie Bishop 10-year-old girls, Mason Simanton 10-year-old boys, Elly Anderson 11-year-old girls, Treyton Wilke 11-year-old boys, Kataya Flansburg 12-year-old girls, Carson Ottinger 12-year-old boys, Brylee French 13-year-old girls, Jared Eggebrecht 13-year-old boys, and Rex Williamson 14-year-old boys.

On Saturday, March 24, these winners then participated in Malta at the District level. The scores shot on that day were then sent on to the State level and compared to other state participants and their scores. State Champions were then determined from these scores.

After reviewing the scores it was determined that Malta's Treyton Wilke won the 11-year-old Boys Division State Title.
