Dusty Ferris Prestwich

MALTA - Dusty Ferris Prestwich, 33, an Army Veteran and truck driver, died Friday, August 3, 2018.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Friday, August 10, at the Kirkwood Memorial Chapel in Malta with Military Honors. Condolences for the family may be left at http://www.kirkwoodfuneralhome.com.

Dusty was born May 16, 1985 in Kalispell, Mont., to Spain and Cori (Blanchard) Prestwich. He graduated from Dodson High School in 2004. Dusty joined the Army National Guard in 2002; he served in Alaska, and participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and in Germany. He was honorably discharged in 2011.

Dusty was employed by Schwan's in Washington then moved to Malta where he went to work for R&G Quality Feeds. At the time of his death, he was employed by Ezzie's Wholesale. Dusty loved online gaming with his friends and riding his Harley. Dusty had some very special family and friends who loved him dearly. He will be missed.

He is survived by his mom and step-dad, Cori and Ric Lamb; his sons, Trey and Roan Prestwich of Washington, Chet Prestwich of Malta; brother, Seth Prestwich of Seattle, half-brother Neil Prestwich of Minnesota, Step Brothers Travis (Lizette) Lamb of Hinsdale, Jason (Janelle) Lamb of Sidney, Justin (Gina) Lamb of Malta, and Landon (Janina) Lamb of Townsend; and half-sisters Jacquelyn Larkin and Jennifer Prestwich both of Minnesota. Maternal grandmother Germaine Blanchard of Hot Springs, and step grandparents George and Stella Lamb of Malta.

He is preceded in death by his father Spain Prestwich, grandfather Red Prestwich, grandmother Ellen Prestwich and grandfather Dick Blanchard.
