Practice kicks off for Fall Sports

Practice has officially started for all Phillips County High School Sports Teams.

For us at the Phillips County News that means that the annual Fall Sports Preview will be out next week Wednesday, August 29.

This year, the PCN will be featuring the Malta Mustangs Football team, Malta M-ettes Volleyball Team, North Country Mavericks volleyball team, Dodson Cross Country team, Malta Cross Country team, and the Malta Cheerleaders.

The regular season for football kicks off this Friday, August 24, as the Malta Mustangs take on the Shelby Mustangs at Mustang Field in Malta at 7 p.m.
