One Nation, Under God

Loring News for September 5, 2018

8-26. Thank you, Lord, for sending us a taste of rain this weekend. Loring got almost a half inch, not a lot, but better than none.

Tom and I went to Billings for a couple of days this week. We visited with David, Brandie, and Rocco and saw their new home which is getting closer to completion! We spent time with Debbie Richau and Jeannie, Saige and Zoey. Then as we left Billings we stopped to visit Tom's sister and her husband, Bev and Louie Haagenson.

Sympathy to the Mickey Hellie family on his recent passing. Mickey was a mail carrier for our community for many years!

The North Country Mavericks volleyball teams played in Malta on Saturday. The JV split their games and the varsity lost all their games. Better luck next time! Heidi Cummings and Kelsee stopped at the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum to drop off my 2018 annual! The annual staff has much to be proud of!

I know that Beau Simonson played Football for the Mustangs on Friday! This game was not the best score, but something that can be improved!

I'm not sure about everyone, but I've heard that the zucchini is not so plentiful this year. So, you don't need to lock your car at church. LOL.

9-5. Double news this week, but also an early reporting deadline due to Labor Day or my birthday. Many of the Hellie family were here to pay last respects to Mickey this past week.

This week we got 1 1/2 inches of rain! That is so awesome!

I think my hummingbird has flown south, I haven't seen him for a day or so. At least we were able to give him some sustenance for his trip! One-part sugar three parts water, boiled up and cooled!

The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum will be closing on Labor Day. Then I'll be able to see retirement!
